If more people here would channel their inner 20 year old there would be less conflict. Think of yourself as a 20 year old college student again. Drunk as hell. Would the 20 year old you have yelled those things?

Actually I didn't. I yelled out stuff, but I didn't add "Cock" to everything, nor did I yell out "frick you" "suck a tiger dick" etc.
The only one I used to do was "Kick their arse" rather than "L S U" after first downs. There were some after Tiger Rag yelling, "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, Assholes, Assholes", silly, but not the same as "frick you" or "Suck a tiger dick/cock".
At least be freaking creative rather than just crude.

The band was told to have something ready to play which will take the place of oweo..no piped in music will be added from what we hear

You act like the student section is different than when you were there. I'm a student but I've never heard the suck a tigers dick thing. The same goes for when you were in school. I'm sure people said stupid things that you just didn't hear. Oh and I loved Oweo which is in no way "crude"

A suggestion:
Please tell the band to play something original rather than freaking 'Stand up and get crunk'. Song is overplayed and I think you guys can do a lot better. Using that song just screams lack of creativity and laziness on the band directors' parts.

I agree with the crunk suggestion. With that song and the Saints cups at the game it was ridiculous.

OweO wasn't crude. It was the people continually saying "You suck" during it that was crude.
We loved that song when I was there, and the students just went "Oh weeeee Oh, ohhhhhhh oh". It was a fun song, I agree.

"Cocks" was added to the end of you suck against USC in 07. I heard a "frick you Saban" chant after the 08 game. Those are literally the only 2 times in over 30 games I've ever heard more than 5 students yell "frick" or "suck cock" at the same time.
So telling the other team they're assholes is creative, but telling them they suck is crude?

My guess to the reason were playing this right now is cause were playing at the saints game next week and it just seems to be popular with the general population

Oh hell let's just start playing the same songs you hear at every other stadium, from high school on up. That's why TB is soooo great because we have our own built in songs that make us who we are butttt... you had to become so filthy that's screwed up now.
