Al Woods was in the 2 deep as a freshman, was a starter as a senior, and is in his 10th NFL season. Why are you lumping his with Davenport?

Well Woods being a nose tackle having to play in a 4-3 had a lot to do with that.

True but he didn't make a real impact until Sr year. He was a bust in college no way around it.
He grew and became a situational DL in the league and has had a nice career making lots of money. Just took him longer to adjust to the competition level and we didn't ever get to see the best version of him. It happens.
