We all know being a tight ends coach under Barry Switzer equals NFL teams beating a path to your door to take over their squad.

And did you really think I meant he would go back to the NFL as a position coach? The source post said they thought he would go to UM, ND or the Pro's. The only way Miles would voluntarily go to the NFL is for a head job, which ain't happening.

I could see UM definately, maybe ND...but no telling who they'd hire.

Heard this sentence repeatedly in 2005, 2006 & 2007. So far every year has been "The year".

The reason I said this was that this is the first year that he's had some adversity to deal with. He's got some serious issues to work out. He's probably feeling pressure from administration, fans, players, and the media who has wondered all along if his success should be directly contributed to Saban.

How ever long it takes for Michigan to fire R.R. and hire Les. I dont think he will pass on the job twice.

Serious question-if Miles has another year like this one will UM still want him?

He's already been a position coach in the No fun League.

There is absolutely no way he is ever a head coach in the NFL. His clock management skills (or lack thereof) is just one of many reasons no owner would make that mistake.
