I would think around 25.
But there will be several variables, and the passing may only increase in certain situations against certain teams.
I think just having the presence of Mett behind center will only help would should be a dominant run game.
But with our skill players, we can do all kinds of things on offense: option, wildcat/tiger, bubble screens, reverses, halfback passes, etc -
or what we should have tried Jan. 9

The WASHINGTON game should be interesting and may tell us what to expect.

Probably 15 attempts for most games

Why would you think we will pass LESS than this year with a better QB? Posts like these show your disdain for Miles

We are a run first team. That is how we won 13 games this year. We will still run the ball, I hope Mett behind center opens up the run game even more. Our passing game will be more of a threat, but if you expect 40 passes a game go watch McNeese.

We averaged 24.5 attempts per game in games in which Lee and Mett played exclusively (i.e., before JJ returned from suspension). That is probably a good indicator of what how much Mett will throw, as well.
Just for comparison's sake, we threw 19 times per game when Lee started but JJ also played, and 17.2 times per game when JJ started.

next season. I think nothing changes much in the offense.
20
LSU averaged 19 this year. I am going with 24.

Nexzt year, I would expect that LSU will pass around 27-30 times per game.
I think that's too high.
But, it will be above 20.
My guess is somewhere around 23 or 24.

That's all you really need to be successful. See "CLM" we're really not asking for much just a lil passing game, that's all
