Thanks everyone! We were planning on LSU gear but now I think we may go with the gold and blue at least for pregame if we’ll be treated that well!

We are planning on getting there early to take it all in. Appreciate all the advice! Geaux Tigers (and Mountaineers)

you will definitely be treated well, but if you have white based wvu attire that would fit in better with the proposed "white out" for the game... (although not a big deal imo)

If you want the full experience, get there early and bypass eating out. Get ready to walk and make sure you wear your WV gear. You will get ragged on a little but respected for representing. If you take everything in good fun and roll with it you will be treated to lots of delicious food and beverages throughout the day. The reputation will preceed itself as Tigers fans are amongst the rowdiest but also have legendary hospitality. Catch the gameday area early, mingle with people, walk around the camping/tailgating area and you will no doubt be treated to a fine day. Tiger Stadium will be absolutely rocking Sat night, you couldnt have picked a better time. Im pretty jealous knowing what youre walking into for the first time having experienced it quite often.

Went up to Morgantown for our game in 2011 and had a blast.

I know y'all can get rowdy so expect both of you to be yelling at the top of your lungs in Tiger Stadium just like the rest of us.

When are you getting in and when are you leaving? I agree Chimes is a must, but its going to be nuts on gameday. shite, it will even be nuts on Friday night. Other places to eat and drink on Friday or Sunday:

Nice restaurants - Mansurs, Jubans, Ruffinos, K St Grill, Beausoliel
More casual - Overpass Merchant, Sammys, Parrains
Bars - Bulldog, Olive or Twist, Bin 77, Radio Bar, bunch of places downtown

If you want to park in one of the free lots near campus (look at the parking map) then you need to be at campus by 8AM probably. It will be worth it IMO though. Will be a long arse day, but you will enjoy it. It will go by faster than you think. Helps that it will be amazing weather too... If you are wearing WVU gear (gold or white WVU gear would be great!) then someone will definitely invite you into their tailgate for food and drinks. Go by the Indian Mounds and along Field House Dr to see some of the better tailgate setups with huge bars, TVs, and places to sit for when your wife inevitably makes that comment.
