Yes he did. He seemed to show the most desire in that game. For some reason he has seen very little game time this year.

I compare it to baseball where a pitcher throwing strikes more often than not seems to have a better defense behind him. Everyone knows there's a REAL possibility they will have a chance to make a play.

LaFell has been consistent throughout his career. Remember the discussion his freshman year when JR threw a long pass along the sideline that was slightly over thrown. Lafell never tried to break it up or prevent the db from intercepting. He plays the same way now. When the pass is intercepted he never puts much effort into trying to tackle the defender.

Lafell is having the second best receiving year in the SEC with Jarrett fricking Lee throwing him the ball, yet all of the rantards nitpick about a ball he had absolutely no chance of getting a finger on.
Lafell is better than any WR at OU or UT. Honestly he's on level with Crabtree, Maclin, or Dez Bryant.

all of my comments have been aimed at the receiving corp not at ONE individual.
Byrd is not playing to his potential, neither are others...
here is from MILES himself...of course, you may know better

the issue of dropped passes has become contagious. By Miles' count, at least three receivers dropped passes in the overtime loss to No. 1 Alabama last week, and the topic is one to which the Tigers have devoted considerable attention at practice this week. "We've really talked to the receivers about everything that's going on through the game, including correction of routes and 'hots,'¤" Miles said, referring to the need for offensive players to anticipate blitzes, particularly from the edges.

Brandon Lafell would start at any school in the nation. There are only 2 or 3 better receivers in the entire country, and no team has 2 of them. I think part of his not already being a super-star is having to catch balls in practice from so many quarterbacks. He's run 1st team reps with Jamarcus, Flynn, Perilloux, Hatch, and Lee. All in the last 3 years. Quan Cosby and Jordan Shipley have been working with Colt McCoy for 3 years. That makes a difference. One of the biggest things that makes all those Big 12 QBs so good is that they've all been starters for 2 or 3 years. That too, makes a huge difference.

First of all, he is not only ridiculous but ignorant.
The term "what say you" came from the old English which was probably derived from Latin and used in the English courts, "what say ye".
Besides this, he obviously did not get to a high enough grade level to read Shakespeare, where he used the term "what say you" multiple times.

Lafell is a great route runner
I call BS on this. Getting open every time does not equal running great routes. The dude is also good for at least one drop per game and chases a lot of passes with short arms.
