LSU pardoned him and his number 20 hangs in Tiger Stadium and is retired. I don't get the unforgiveness of some of you. What did Billy Cannon do to hurt you unless you are a closet Ole Miss fan and your opinion sucks.

Pardons are given to the guilty. Innocent people don’t need pardons.

Cannon paid the price for his mistake and led a commendable life afterward. God forgave him. That's the only pardon that matters.

Yes, he may need to pardon John K. but it gives the families a lot of relief to have their loved ones exonerated. By the way, Billy Cannon was guilty but later in life he had a conversion and completely turned his life around. Well deserved pardon. Would make a good movie in my humble opinion.
