we make those FGs, we score 32 pts. On the road against a good team with a good defense, and that knew we weren't going to run.

Doesn't sound incredibly easy to shut down to me

Pass, run, pass

If you know the formula… so easy to figure it out. How has Jackson disappeared from the run game.

This.

Our offense was very predictable all night, and when Aggie started breaking up the first down passes, they pretty much shut us down. Only got the last TD because of a third down conversion by penalty.

Sloan had a bad night calling plays.

Wouldn’t be easy if WRs could catch.

When you have zero running game it’s not hard.

Sloan does not know how to run an offense. He tries to get too cute at times instead of going with what has been working

I didn’t see anything that was creative last night. It was long sideline and complete then running up the middle for one yard

A big factor in the loss. The defense was also dreadful. Milroe on deck.

No, our O is NOT incredibly easy to shut down. In fact, in 4 SEC games our O has NOT been shut down at all. We shut ourselves down 6 times last night...SIX times by making mistakes. THREE FG errors and 3 INT's, that is what "shut our O down" last night.

2 of those 3 FG “errors” as you call them would have been career long FG’s for Ramos. Missing two FG’s out of your range are not “errors”.

Let’s discuss the INT’s. Yes, Nuss pressed and forced 3 passes that he shouldn’t have thrown. However, when you have ZERO running game, it forces the QB to put everything on his shoulders in order for the offense to move the ball.

Instead of Nuss given the luxury of having a balanced offense to work with, and all he needs to do is manage it, our total and complete lack of an effective running game forces our QB to put the entire offense in his back. He feels the pressure and it mounts, forcing him to make throws he would never have to do if he had a running attack to make his life easier.

We depend on FG’s far too often, because our offense struggles in the red zone. In the Red Zone, defenses have far less real estate to cover. Defenses have a huge advantage in the red zone when facing a one dimensional offense like LSU’s.
