There’s your answer. We recruited the #2 kicker in the country…but he was 7 for 12 last year in high school. Kicks off like a beast, and that’s (for some reason) what the ranking service focuses on. I hope Dibert can succeed though, we’d love if LSU didn’t look for another kicker for a couple of years.

It just so happens that I'm old enough to remember John Lee getting drafted. Obviously I didn't Google it because people have chimed in after that to tell me that Janikowski and Exleben were higher picks.
