Yes, turnovers were critical. It was a fluke game. All coaches have them. Sometimes teams can scratch out a victory late, such as Clemson did against that same Troy team the year before. Sometimes you can't, such as saban against uab and ulm.
You are correct, anything to bash the offense. Hell, these same individuals blame the offense for the a&m loss, when the game was in control until Giles did his thing on special teams, and the d couldn't prevent a&m from going 60 yards in 20 seconds with no timeouts.

How many points did we score in the miss state game?

Would you look at that Finds a way to blame the offense

The offense put up 430 yards in that game, but turned it over 4 times, which was the killer.

It had nothing at all to do with the RB running for 190 yards

Dude, GTFO with this shite. YOU made the statement our worst defensive performance. I simply pointed out that state was worse. The offense got much better at the end of the season, after gaining some experience and continuity, which they had zero of to start the year. Try being objective instead of your obvious O agenda.
Both sides of the ball need to get better. I believe they will

One of the worst performances I've seen from an LSU team in a couple decades. Offense and defense.

7 points

I'm just laughing as I look for reasons to take a break this morning, Rog. You were giving someone shite for blaming the offense then blamed the offense. No big deal to me but others will pounce all over it.
I'm trying to find reasons to take a break between running and cutting grass. It's hotter than a spoon in Demi Levato's house out here. This thread is my entertainment for the moment before the World Cup comes on.

Its what some of these guys do Roger. Screaming no excuses, then immediately start a list of excuses why the defense played so poorly against Troy and state. Meanwhile, you have an offense returning zero production, no elite rb, a brand new qb, massive injuries and a suspension on an already green OL, a new OL coach, and a new OC. Any reasonable person expects it to take some time. They were inconsistent, for sure, but plenty good days too. Burrow came of age the last few games. Can't wait until this year.

He blamed the offense for a RB gaining 190 yards. The statement related to that in entirety.
I mean, it seems like that was kind of obvious to me. Maybe our educational systems were very different

I've already ran and pushups. Golf, then mowing late.

I didn't read the whole thread Roger. If I'm wrong, let me have it.

Nice. I wish everyone would realize the benefits of good excercise. Too bad I waited until too late in life to discover it.

I don't see the point in taking a comment out of context here unless we're just trying for another 100 page thread. That's usually how they begin.

Check my post history. I have no agenda. I’m as objective as you’ll find. You, on the hand....

It wasn't done on purpose. I can't read through all of these football threads. I saw one post that grabbed my interest and ran with it. I should have traced yours back first. I'm in the making people smile business. Doesn't matter if it's with me or at me, so laugh at me and call me a dumbass.
It's gonna be a long until camp if people are talking about one of the worst losses in LSU history nearly 2 years ago when one of the most anticipated seasons is ahead of us. I think we have to be able to laugh about it personally. At least I do or I may go crazy.

From what I've read of Rosenblatt, he's one of the most objective posters here this summer. If you see an obvious O agenda in his posts, you're probably projecting.

Has been an LSU football issue for-fricking-ever both in efforts and outcome.
Miles made it a fricking art form and while it has improved under O, it's still a big problem. You need someone like Saban who will bust arse and bench players for it.

Being consistently good in sports, especially college sports, is what separates the very good from the elite. It's much more difficult to improve from very good to elite than it is to become a very good team.
