We ain't all that bad. Don't let a few rotten apples spoil the bunch. Here's to a good, clean, and injury-free game. Good luck with y'all's coaching search and God Bless.

I was a college senior in 2003. I remember the OU fans being the most arrogant fanbase I had ever come across.

I remember partying after the game, but I don't remember much interaction with OU fans. However, I'm sure we had a pretty decent contigent who didn't know how to act after a win like that. Most of the stories have been 'enhanced' since 2003, but I'm sure after games at Kansas State and Iowa State, running into thousands of LSU fans chanting "Tiger Bait!" the whole weekend was probably pretty jarring.

The LSU and OU fans had a blast together in 2019 in Atlanta, though.

I’d expect them to be saltier over 2019, that was a 2011-level embarrassment on a stage about as large as the 04 title game.

Yeah my Dad used to tell me about that game how they beat the socks off us he was there. He made it through to the 04 game luckily.
But the game last year I sat lower section where there were a lot of Boomer Sooner going on and they were all fairly cocky at first! Then Nuss, AA & Hilton reminded them where they were; seems like a dream now!

I was there, too. Last year, OU was embarrassed.

I was at the 2004 Sugar Bowl. I think the meanness/trashiness behavior wasn’t necessarily LSU fans but from Louisianans who were celebrating how big a deal it was to have this big of moment in the state’s history. Outside of the 1958 title, and not counting the 90s CWS titles, this was the biggest thing to happen in Louisiana sports history and the state contingency was there for it.

There were plenty of LSU fans we ran into who were awesome, inviting, and just glad to be playing a program of that caliber but knowing they were equally as good or better.

I was working in Tulsa at the time and flew in for the weekend. I was the only LSU fan on the plane. OU fans were super confident from the time I got on the plane till we beat their arse. I brought back 20 times picayunes and went to work at 5 am when I got back to Tulsa to leave them on the big OU fans desks.
