They aren't exactly prime examples of good SEC defenses.
They averaged 41.7 points per game over their final 6 conference games. That's almost half the conference, so you can't really make the argument those are uncharacteristically bad teams, unless you're saying the SEC is top-heavy.
Also, a 6-6 Texas team missing several of their top starters held them to 16 points in their bowl game.

LSU is an Auburn level program...nowhere near the OU's and Bama's...not even close.
It is actually close. We've won more than y'all in an actual legit era. Not the mythical era. LSU has been one of the top programs in recent history and in the life span of recruits.
Trying to act like Michigan, Nebraska, USC, Tennessee, Texas are even remotely close to what they were is laughable, they aren't on LSUs level. Or to even think OU deserves to be in talks with programs like bama and tOSU is laughable.
