Yes it does because your's always think your are better than there's and actually you dont know what they have either
Thinking that your team is the best does not make you a homer. Thinking your team is the best when they clearly are not makes you a homer. No one knows at this time that LSU "clearly" does not have the best backfield in the SEC this year.

If winning a Top 3 Conference, playing awesome OOC games, having a great time winning games, back-to-back MNCGs, is problems, then give me that any day of the week!

LSU doesn't run a full house backfield.
They have one (sometimes, two) RBs on the field at one time.

cosmo.... tebow alone? come on now, hes good but damn.
williams scott and murphy all have the ability to take it to the house every time they toch the ball, not something i can say for tebow. yea i know tebow can get you those tough yards up the middle but that wont last forever

Trust me, LSU has studs at RB, but they are hurting at QB.
You can't be sure we are hurting at QB. It most likely won't happen but what's to say Hatch or Lee can't have a sam bradford type first season. QB might turn out to be our strong point. Just cause you haven't seen them play doesn't mean they suck

I think that it would go:
UGA
FLA
LSU
UGA
FLA
LSU

We are talking about most likely outcomes/nest season potential.
Most likely, they will have serious growing pains.

You missed something Cosmo:
- Winning a Top 3 Conference
- Playing awesome OOC games
- Having a great time winning games
- Back-to-back MNCGs
****Getting your team and "top 3 conference" embarassed by the #1 conference in the nation TWO ears in a row
PRICELESS (well in your case, nightmare)

Best QB's
Fla
UGA
-
-
-
-
LSU
Best RB
LSU
UGA
-
FLA
So best backfield would have to be UGA since the average out better. Better balance. Fla has Tebow who is amazing and will beat you almost by himself. UGA has great balance between QB & RB.
LSU is still a question mark at RB. We have major talent but can they carry the load all season like Hester did?? I think so but we will have to wait and see. At QB LSU is in trouble I fear this year and it will cost us. (that being said, I still think Les did the right thing by kicking RP off the team)

Top 3 conference right now? Seriously? The Sunbelt just called in to laugh.

That is a topic for another thread.

Do I realize that the Big Ten is having some serious identity issues right now? Of course, read my posts.
Do I still think they are a Top 3 Conference, yes.
Ohio State could rival an SEC school, and if you don't think that you are a true ranter.

Matt Mauck was not even close to one of the better quarterbacks at lsu. And i think this offense has more potential than that championship team did. On defense they might get the edge however. But Hatch or Lee will surely be able to be better than mauck.
Growing pains will be allowed. I'm guaranteeing SECCG for tigers. Save this and show it back to me in Dec.

Cosmo,if you think you have a top 3 conference right now then you have absolutely NO right to claim people on this board of having a "ranter" view.

Have you looked at your record over the last 9 games against the SEC?
You could probably say that about any other onference. Take their top team and then say it can rival another conference team. You have to look at the middle and lower teams. I would feel confident saying our top 5 teams could compete for the top spot in your conference every year. Your number 3,4,5 teams would stand no chance in the SEC.
