It is really inexcusable to me that Joe hasn't done more to Tiger Stadium. With our budget, we should be having renovations every off-season to eventually be as proud of the stadium as we are of the experience. The slow playing with the resources LSU has is aggravating.

Do you even sand volleyball court bro?

Taking out the bleachers and putting seat backs all around may reduce capacity and at the same time be a great upgrade.

Would LSU ever be able to pull off the hedges like Georgia Bama and Auburn have?

I'm having trouble finding a picture but you can see the hedges behind the end zones during kick off from this game in 1977

I would be for re numbering the seats and taking out a row in each session to give each person an extra few inches wider seat and a few inches in leg room. The leg room gets to me. I don’t know if it’s logistically possible but it would be a lot better experience. Also more Terraces to stand and watch the game. I would rather stand anyway the only time I like to sit is halftime

This was another thing I left out. "Social areas" are another trend in stadiums. More so in baseball stadiums which admittedly have more free space with views to give than a football stadium.

But they're standing room only areas where people can grab nearby concessions and socialize/watch the game. Maybe something like that could work in the north endzone. Rather than another upper, they could do something like a view deck with a restaurant, bar top seating? Something along the idea of what Jacksonville did

2015 East suites and west club spaces renovated
2015 Concrete resealed and seats repaired/replaced
2016-2017 South End Zone dorms removed
2017 Renovated 34 existing bathrooms (except south end zone) and added 9 new bathrooms. The renovated bathrooms now include baby changing stations

Better to have it and not use it than not have it at all. I hate the trend of lowering capacity for the excuse of increasing “fan experience”.

We have shitty concourses and shitty concessions. It should be lined with previous legendary players and coaches from our history. It should be nice to look at. Not look like it’s about to collapse.

This is a serious question. Do you pretend to like football? Only asking because I’ve never considered the aesthetics of the concourses.

Next time you buy an overpriced designer burger, you should think about how you’d turn the concourses into a museum that is secondary to the event that people pay money for.

I’ll have a sonic burger.

Michigan Stadium traditionally 'expands' by remarking their bench seating to squeeze more people into the same space. As people are getting fatter in Michigan (and elsewhere), I suspect part of their 'renovation' is remarking the seats allow for more comfort for those of BMI 30+!

Tiger Stadium is a dump. Start fixing it now before you run some fans off permanently.

Pretty sure that process started about 3-5 years ago, maybe longer than that.
