I like Hester and Flynn but agree that they are too similar and the show how lost a lot of its entertainment appeal. I will still listen though.
Hunt is too boring for me. I can't ever really pay attention.
I like Hanny, but will not watch the lunch hour show.
Moscona catches a lot of shite, but he does a very good job of keeping his show entertaining. He does well with interviews.

I miss the days of Hanny on Eagle 98.1. The Bama rant is one of my favorite clips all time.

I give AFR a lot of shite. I do think Matt is a good dude though. While I don’t think his show is “entertaining” per se, I do agree he’s really good with interviews.
Now, IMHO, OTB was peak with Jordy and TBob. 2017-19. The Will Wade/Dickie V saga, the 2019 run, that was all such good radio.
And I guess it could always be worse. We could still have Mario and Musso…

I've listened to Ott for many years. I liked his older shows where he talked sports Monday to Thursday and then on Friday he would do Lock of the Week and discuss betting. Now, Hanny and Ott's daily show is damn near sports betting the whole show. I don't even listen anymore. Hanny and Ott are capable of doing a high quality show. They need to tone down the betting stuff. Maybe I am wrong. Does the majority of listeners want to listen to experts break down gambling on golf, horses, baseball, basketball, and football?
Hester and Flynn have been tough to listen to this week. This morning, I don't think they talked about actual sports until maybe the 2nd hour. They reminisce about their NFL time too much.
However, now that LSU practice has started maybe things will get a little better for both shows.
I like Hunt but I rarely ever listen due to my work schedule.

Those guys were how I got into sports radio. Never really listened to morning radio before then.

I agree and moscona is too much performance. its not funny. when I hear the Barbie girl song I turn it to NPR which is a disaster of white women grievance nonsense but at least they have some news.
hannagrif is terrific, but held back by the terrible jimmy ott who interrupts and says dumb things.
hunt palmer is great. especially for basketball.

Ott constantly trying to be better than Hanny gets so tired. He thinks he is smarter than Hanny and downplays a lot of what Hanny says. I wish Charles could get his own show, even with Musso I think could works especially in baseball season.

T-Bob was great
Hester is fine straight man, but it took time for him to figure out the role
Flynn is absolutely terrible and always has been when he used to do segments

Inside jokes dont play on the radio guys
