So attacking O is ok, but attacking the people attacking our coach is pathetic? Makes sense.

well, that is your opinion, but I don't see that. That team was talented and the start and continuation of the juggernaut that he had begun to establish just like he did in Alabama. He would have easily walked through the SEC for another title.

2005? Zero chance we win it that year even if we go undefeated, ask 2004 Auburn. Now 2006? I think Saban wins that one and 2007 but 2005 I think he might have done worse and i doubt he goes undefeated

Btw in another thread someone was questioning if people bashed Miles from day 1 here's exhibit A

why??

and they may have been some Miles haters out there early on, I'll acknowledge that, but it was just a questionable hire. But some players were saying back then because I remember the interviews that he was really apprehensive about getting behind them, assuming his HC role with vigor and being the boss and all about them.

maybe we win the SEC but yeah UT or USC prolly win anyway. 2006 while we maybe still get hosed at AU we win at UF. JR shoulda been pulled and flynn put in. Saban woulda yanked him just like he did in 2004 playing there. would not have been first time.

Speaking of 2004. Saban had a great year for his fifth year in the program.

Idk about that, I have my questions. LSU wins that Tenn game in continuing that blow out and run the table like they did that season, and goes on to beat UGA in that SECCG. I think you see the USC-LSU championship game that everybody wanted. Remember, this is the SEC we're talking about, arguably the best football conference.

But it's all water under the bridge now.

it is based on KNOWNS and UNKNOWNS at that time.

Yeah let's go hire BUDDY TEEVENS.

WE HAVE NO WAY TO KNOW IF THE HIRE IS CRAP!

are you really this damn stupid?

You obviously have never been a business owner or serious investor if that is your mentality.

hey i want you to invest in a lesser stock just in case even though this other stock has had much better performance over time. Hey i want you to hire this guy who is currently a manager at smoothie king over this guy with an engineering degree and practical experience in design for your engineering firm.

Is that the same Saban who got beat like a drum to much the same Georgia?

Are we talking about the same Saban who won nine games, was for all practical purposes out of the SEC race in September, and barely finished in the top 20 in 2004?

He never produced back to back ten win seasons at LSU but he was sure to win a NC in 2005.

Saban was a very good coach at LSU but this idea that he never had his own, what the frick games at LSU is laughable.

I just don't see anyway LSU passes Texas, they killed everyone and beat top 5 Ohio State on the road, even if we go undefeated which I also doubt given the circumstances, the team played 11 straight weeks by the SEC CG and was clearly exhausted.

Lmao. I owned (and still own) a cpa firm. Hilarious.

I'll be the first to bash O if he fails this season. There are a lot of reasons to have optimism and wait and see.

You calling me stupid is funny. The season hasn't even began but YOU KNOW it is a crap hire...speaking as if that is fact. He may turn out to have been a great hire. One of us will wait to see results, while the other whines and bitches and jumps off a ledge.

You guys and your bullshite, you always have to let your hatred of Saban make you take a comment the wrong way and run with it. Yes, that's the same UGA team who's arse he kicked twice (really bad in the SECCG) in the same season in winning a NC.

People aren't happy with the hire, so they state why they aren't happy usually backing it up. You just come in here and attack people talking about how smart you are and how others are dumb
