Of course they do but when half of your future NFL players are freshmen it's a team lacking in experience throw in 2014 the SEC W may have been the toughest division ever( 3 SEC W teams were in the first playoff rankings and Alabama wasn't 1 of them) and sub P5 talent at QB and 8-4, 4-4 isn't surprising. 2015 and 2016 had enough talent to do much better than they did except of course at QB which is why we have a new coach.

That's not what you posted but I should've known Miles apologist and selective stats go together like cereal and milk.

So it's ok for you to count true freshman but nobody els is allowed to? Lol the double standards continue constantly bashing the 01 team for winning the sec with 3 losses but never a peep about the 2 loss natty in 07 which is more of an outlier.

also, saban was only in his 2nd year in 2001 regardless of who eventually made it to the NFL.

my point was the greatest coach of all time had nfl talent all over the field and was losing 4,3,& 5 games a year.

that talent was young like our 2014& 2015 talent.

he did not take over a ferrari as did les.

yes Miles took over a far better program but I wouldnt call at least 3 losses 4 of the last 5 years as a Ferrari. ohio state, miami, fsu, oklahoma, and usc were Ferraris. lsu had finished unranked in 40% of Saban's tenure.

If anybody thinks saban would not have eclipsed les had he stayed they are kookoo for cocoa puffs.

no one believes that. Saban is the GOAT

ETA: 2016 there was enough talent to make a run, save for QB which is why Miles is gone
I think by start of 2016 Miles should've seen enough of Cam's boy Harris struggling with screens, hot stuff, and pocket work,to realize it really limited the playcalling.

I'm pointing out the fallacy. good god.

neother the 2014 nor the 2001 lsu tigers had nfl players all over the field

Kinda like the fallacy of Saban inheriting 20 pros when he only inherited 11?

sure.

no one thinks Saban inherited the same progran miles did. mikes inherited a program on the cusp on being a top 5 program( how close to top 5 is subjective)
