Herman is an offensive coach and knows what it takes.

O says Slinger is the best in the business but yet LSU offense is still in the Stone age.

Herman understands the value of putting points on the board vs Bama.

Not saying he isn’t good coach . Ok, I am not a Herman fan. Everywhere he has coached his teams were never defensive minded , you don’t win in SEC without defense.

program needed an overhaul and Orgeron cleaned house
O cleaned house by promoting les miles tight end coach to OC, keeping aranda, etc. I wouldn’t call that cleaning house.

How important is it to stop Bama. Guess that don’t matter.if you guys were Bama fans I guarantee you would be bitching about special teams. Never happy

Not sure how motivated Ga was . Not saying they weren’t but not sure either way. I have a feeling Ga. may take a step backwards. Just a gut feeling. Not all roses in Dawg community.

The Jimbo situation was a little more bothersome. Either Jimbo played us, the timing was wrong or Alleva and co. screwed the process up. Probably a combination of all 3.

JImbo had problems with BIG $$$ people at FSU. he played us to get a better deal.
Jimbo was never coming to LSU and neither was Herman.....different reasons.

As soon as Winston left things started to go south for Jimbo.

Time will tell at aTm, he started w a lot of talent.
Of all the bad things that Sumlin did, recruiting was not one of them. He is a good coach...as to great, I do not yet know. Will see if aTm gets their money's worth. The news media is pushing him up...they would love for TX and aTm to become relevant again BIIIIIG Audience.

Hard to argue that both him and jimbo have done more with less.

I'm not seeing this at all. UGA has had top 3 recruiting classes the last 3 years.

I completely discount their loss to Texas. UGA was a lock for the playoffs before they melted down late against Bama in the SECCG. Even though the Sugar Bowl is a big bowl, UGA didn't want to be there, so they weren't as motivated, and it was a huge game for UT.

UGA will be damn good again next year.

Kirby let his UGA team sleep walk into the Sugar Bowl because they were upset about not getting a CFP bid and by doing so gave Texas a lot more cred then they should have had.

Auburn did the same with UCF and we had to take care of business last season. Now in 2019 we need to once again restore natural order by putting the horns back in their place.

I agree with this and I think we will take care of business.

Why not just LSU vs. Texas?

should make the 20 point victory even sweeter.

Rosters only make up a portion of the equation. The intangibles for this game (early season, top 10 matchup, road game in a hostile environment, etc.) almost guarantee there’s no way the game is that lopsided. Texas will be ready to play.

People keep saying this like it’s the gospel but I don’t buy it at all. If anything, UGA was pissed and ready to prove a point...Texas was just better coached, UGA couldn’t keep from fumbling (playing angry and tight) and Elinger played like Tebow.
