Bama scored their second TD with 14:17 left in the second quarter to go up 14-0. We never got closer than 11 points after that.
As a matter of fact, we were down 21-3 until Darrel Williams scored a TD with 1:48 left in the 3rd quarter.
We were down 21-10 going into the fourth.
You are aware there are ways to look this stuff up to make sure what you're claiming is correct, right?
I got all this from ESPN. Check it out Roger. Make sure I'm correct. Don't take my word for it.

BINGO!
But to fair, Roger isn't alone as far as that's concerned.

I did too. There was a time I use to enjoy most the stuff Roger posted. Things have changed.

He more often than not comes across like an arrogant and condescending jerk.
These days he does. It's sad. I use to consider him a really good poster.

Correct again birdman. I've come to the conclusion that Roger thinks he's better than the rest of us and that's why he acts the way he does. And again, I don't know why or when he changed.
RIP old Roger.

Roger's been on my arse since last fall for the exact same thing. I think it's really funny.

I don't get it., man. I just don't get it.
"There can be no legitimate concerns of the football team. How dare you question O or have concerns. Every thing is hunky dory."
I do think we have a ton of talent returning but there are still areas that need improvement.
OMG if you have concerns, you hate the team and the coach and wish for it to fail. You're no LSU fan!
Geez.

I hear ya. Roger's started in with me last October I believe. He keeps telling me all my posts are negative and bash o.
Now, I'll admit that I've said a few things negative about o, but most my posts are fact filled and roger still deems them negative and bashing.
Hell it's not my opinion that our 2018 offense was the worse ranked offense since the 2014 season. That's just a fact. But to Roger, that's bashing.

I couldn't care less about how Roger deems the posts. Roger has to be right, he has to be. He'll go on and on for hours until the other person just gives up. Even if the other poster has made a very good point.
I've seen your posts about it, they are similar to mine.
It's a reasonable concern but certain posters who I won't name consider just even voicing those concerns equals wanting to see the O fail and the team and so forth.

Yes they are similar. I think you're more level headed than me and you word your posts more clearly than I do. But we usually seem to be on the same page concerning the football team.

One thing I try to do, it's actually important to me to do it, is to try remain respectful. The old, "treat people as you'd want to be treated" saying.
In a nut shell, just be nice. Not kiss arse, but just be nice.

Dear God. Why did you start this thread?
It's the same kids, googling wins, losses, percentages, strength of schedule, humidity, start time, concession prices and Saban's underwear brand.
All to "win" a battle of anonymous posters. Very strange.

No one is clinging to anything. We just expect all of this potential energy to be turned into kinetic energy. To do that we have to at least be competitive vs Bama this year.

Sure it’s a fact. Just like it’s a fact that the 2018 team’s junior class was the 2016 recruiting class. Here’s another fact, the 2016 offensive recruiting class produced one regular offensive starter.
Hmmmmm.

Who was responsible for developing that class?

Freshmen and sophomores passed up those juniors on the depth chart. Development isn’t the problem. Good try though.

your logic says an AD would be unhappy with recent results but then not having a problem with those same results the next year.
Ricky, I don't know what years you guys are arguing over (I can only stand to go back so far and read your "retard" posts), but expectations factor tremendously in what an AD would deem "acceptable".
If the expectations for a firm in a given year is $6MM in earnings and the firm has a $9MM earnings year, does the board of directors sack the CEO? Of course they don't.
If the expectations for the same firm in another given year is $12MM in earnings and the firm has a $9MM earnings year, does the board of directors sack the CEO? Quite possibly.
It's all about expectations.
