Prediction
Brady will be able to do whatever he wants until Aranda feels his defense (keep in mind it's a beast of a defense) is being rushed.

That's great, execute.

He said this much when he took the job. I just want him to stop saying and actually show us on the field.

I think he may have realized blowing smoke does not equal people behind you. Forget about the perimeter.

It's really not hard to understand. They've implemented the concepts Brady brought into the offense. Ensminger is still the play caller.

In other words we’ll see about 9 plays like he described the entire season and will completely get shut down in a game or two.

I’m sorry but I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m not getting my hopes up for positive change anymore.

Spread, aggressive and modern, until it’s a close game against a good team. Then he’ll go back to being conservative. That’s in his “DNA.”

Such a hard concept to grasp. O has said many times he wanted to open up and modernize the offense. He hired E because he trusts E, E loves LSU, and O knew he would work tirelessly to make the offense successful. They spent time with the Saints to help E learn and implement what they envisioned. While they were there they one upped themselves, went OG, and hired one of the Saints brightest young coaches to help them implement the offense.

Why does it have to be one or the other? Why would it matter? If they are both on the same page and rowing in the same direction, then that question is irrelevant. Maybe they also went to the Saints to learn how to implement a culture where everyone from the coach to the quarterback to the scout team scrubs are all on the same page.

I know. It happens so rarely but this Brady/Ensminger deal is a head scratcher.
Brady is the passing game coordinator; Ensminger is the OC. It’s not that hard.

A combination, but I get the feeling that Ensminger as the OC has turned Brady loose to install and implement everything to modernize the offense and put in the saints passing scheme within that. Basically they are taking a 1980's house and turning it into a 2019 smart home.

Watch the spring game. First two plays used 9 receivers.

I had a cat named Tom when I was a kid.

Thing sucked.
My dad ran over it with his truck.
We all pointed at its dead smooshed furry corpse and laughed.

The good thing about us having coach O is that if he fails and we fire him, we will still have studs for whoever comes in next.

This is Ensminger and Brady's offense. More than one person can create a playbook. They are working together to design it. Ensminger will be the play caller on gameday which I am fine with because I believe Ensminger is a very good play caller. The overall design of the plays in which he was calling needed an upgrade and Brady is providing that.

Hard to believe just four years ago Brady was coaching linebackers at William & Mary. Either he’s a wunderkind or O just saw an opportunity to bring in a new sacrificial lamb for when the offense inevitably flips again.
