Alleva is apparently coaching the team. How can you go lower than an F?

I was hoping some really bad as Dline recruits, but the kid from Amite wants to go to Oregon. Orgeron is a comple fail. Alleva is just a symptom of the real problem with the program. Have to get the ones responsible for hiring him.

Has Leach's name ever been floated at LSU? And if not, why? I know the guy is quirky, but winning/recruting at Washington State has to be incredibly tough.

He's definitely maximized the potential of programs like Texas Tech and Washington State, but some coaches are made for that type of program yet wouldn't be a good fit at a school like LSU.
Look at Rich Rod. He was great at West Virginia, has had some success at Arizona but flamed out at Michigan. Had Paul Finebaum and his callers not called RR's wife ugly, he probably would have been the HC at Alabama instead of Saban, and probably would not have fared well there either. But at WVU, he looked like a top 10 coach in the country circa 2005-2007.

If it's true that Alleva wanted influence inside the football program, then Leach or any other top HC would seem to be a bad fit.
