Seriously never met anyone in Oregon that ate them. We called them crawdads instead. I love seafood but didn't care for them while I was in LA.

Just talked to a buddy, who has probably posted in this thread, but he said he ate that place when he lived up there.
Said the guy brought them out and tried to show him how to eat one. He told to GTFO, and said they were small and bland. Much like the UO football team.

I eat crawfish with some regularity in Portland, but only because this joint is a couple hundred meters from my house and the owners are from New Orleans:

Believe it or not there are crawfish in the lakes here in Colorado too. I know a few coonasses that trap them. I've had them and they are just like LA crawfish but with bigger claws.
