Absolutely use him in this scenario and Johnny Wholestaff it tomorrow

Can't bring him in unless you have the lead. But yes, evans comes in late with a lead.

Yup
Win tonight and IDGAF if we get 10 run ruled tomorrow

Seems obvious. If you use him and still lose you're fricked
Well we could not use him, blow the lead, and still lose tomorrow with him pitching though. It's a no brainer, just like it was a no brainer to leave the game in Cowan's hands last night.

Nobody said we will try to lose. This would be a big series to win though, and pitching Evans to seal the deal is the definition of putting your foot in their throat.

If we get up by 2 or more runs and Eyanson has a vintage performance deep into the game. Do we use Evans today to get this win? I think we should especially considering Arkys top 2 bp arms are burned for today, but coukd certainly come back on Sunday.
I don’t think you would see Evans before the 7th, maybe the 6th. If Eyanson fades early (his typical SEC outing goes until the 6th), we still may see a couple of guys in to piece it together to get to Evans. Against Arkansas’ bats, this may be necessary.

CJJ already said he would do this in that situation.

You play to win tonight. Don’t worry about tomorrow

Up by 2 in the 7th, HELL YES!!!

I think you use him if you have a lead (unless it’s overwhelming) or tied game when Eyanson comes out. If we can secure the series tonight, it’s worth it even if it means we get run ruled tomorrow with Johnny Wholestaff.
To me the real question is how you handle it if you’re down say 1 run in the 6th-7th.

Probably wont use him till it is tied or we have the lead

Amazing to see a thread where everyone agrees! Winning the series tonight is all that matters, tomorrow would be gravy. Would certainly be the right decision to put in Evans with a lead!

Post game comments after Tennessee sweep. Or maybe Saturday night win.

Hopefully, we’ll be up more by a lot and won’t need him tonight.
