Coleman in game two. It is the most important game of the regional, as it sets you up for having to be beaten twice. I put that in the hands of my best.

This is absolutely correct. No way that PM starts Renaudo over Coleman in game two of the regional.

When was the last time Matulis pitched? I would have thought he would have gotten some work in the SEC Tourney so he can be ready for regionals if need be.

Sooooo... you're saying that either Coleman or Ranaudo is going to lose a game? Thats preposterous.

You're being sarcastic, I hope. I certainly put money on either of them losing, but you have to have a plan; it isn't unprecedented.

Bradshaw has not had enough rest to start Friday. The reason he did not pitch more this season is arm problems.

Bradshaw has had 5 days rest, which is only one less day than a normal weekend starter gets, so under normal circumstances he'd be ready to go. But if his arm problems prevent him from pitching regularly than I think we need to not throw him if at all possible this weekend and save him for a possible Sunday start of the Super Regional. Then you could start getting him ready for a start in the CWS.

Exactly why do you think Ross has been replaced by Bradshaw?

Pitching with a 14 run lead is not exactly gaining big experience out of the pen. If I'm not mistaken, he doesn't have a single inning out of the pen this year. Coleman, on the other hand, was still closing games as late as the UGA series this year.

this year he has only started. last year he had a surgery (i think) so he was only used as a closer. if i remember unless it got upset a bit during postseason he had about a 0.00 or at least less than 1.00 ERA during the regular season.
