There are a combined 27 RBs, TEs and WRs. Not that I believe that’s what you actually meant when you posted, but do you think the 10 of those that are walk-ons just for the practice squad also need “mega-reps”?

No. You have solid evidence that an All-American Senior can get the equipment he asks for . Doesn't mean 30 receivers can walk in every day and get the mega-reps THEY need EVERY day.

1. That article was written last year, when Grant Delpit was a sophomore.
2. Delpit hadn’t won any individual awards yet at the time, considering he had only played one full year (as a freshman).
3. LSU only has 14 WR’s on the roster, most of whom will not play this year. And before you start your whole “RB’s need 10,000 reps too!!11!” shtick, do you know how many LSU players caught passes last year? 14.

But yeah, I’m sure we care more about our safeties’ catching abilities than our wide receivers. Maurice Hampton can get all the reps he wants, but Terrace Marshall is SOL.

I look forward to talking with you next off-season after Burrow graduates since you seem so invested in LSU sports.

Oh wait...

I count 34 - Link below.

And if a walk-on commits to play ball at LSU, why the hell would you cut him out of any practice he wants? There are also another 30 or so skill players on the D & ST's who want reps (remember Delpit?)

Jugs machines (or any other similar brand)are dirt cheap. For a program that can afford great new facilities, Jugs aren't even a drop in the bucket.

LSU may save pennies on Jugs, but elite programs are balls-to-the-wall on mega-reps.

Hmm found this gem as well: The Advocate
quote:

“He said we have to do jugs after practice,” said Battle, who started in 12 games last season with 61 tackles and an interception. “Every drop we got pushups.”

Now we know why the offense can’t get jugs reps.. the defense is hogging the machines!!

So you don’t think LSU has Jugs machines? That’s the only conclusion I can glean from you saying that we are saving pennies on jugs.

Here you go with this crap again. LSU just spent $28 million on a locker room. Woodward freed up an additional $7-10 million a year by ending the funds transfer policy. If you really think that LSU is not buying enough of these machines for monetary reasons, you need to get your head checked out.

How many Jugs does it take to get 60 guys jugs reps every day without having to stand in line for hours? No LSU doesn't have near enough. Very, vry few programs do. (But some do)

BTW, JJ Watt, Brandon Weeden, and Baker Mayfield were all walk-ons

Leaving aside the fact that Weeden was a former pro baseball player, how many total college football players are there on every team? In fact, let’s keep it simple, how many players are on each P5 team?

First off, there are differences between Walk-one that show up to a college and make an impact or walk-one that are there just to be bodies and don’t even get looked at during the game.

Secondly, now it’s 60 people? Listen, I get LSU’s clock management hasn’t been the best but I think we could figure out a way to rotate a reasonable amount of in and out of Jugs machine workouts without having 60 lined up.

Here’s an article about DJ Chark. Looks like we had enough access for him to go during his off time as well.

quote:

When he wasn’t in class, he was catching passes on the jugs machine. When he wasn’t doing that, he was making the drive to New Orleans to visit Shirdetra in the hospital.

Roger doesn’t believe in stats or actual evidence.

Example?

you said Mike Leach doesnt run the air raid offense while being shown variable proof that he does.

you claimed a team with 1 NFL draft pick since 2012 was more talented than a team with the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb.

you claimed Mingo was more productive than Montgomery in their last year.

The gofundme will be available tomorrow. We can all do our part to make this season special. WE are the difference between 9-3 and 11-1.

Please do your part.

I really am starting to wonder about that guy.

He has gone from posting to tons of stuff regarding Burrow vs Haskins at tOSU, then it was how they do things at tOSU (even though he's on an LSU board. I kinda give him the benefit of the doubt that he's aware of it but I'm not exactly sure ), then it was pretending to having a source at LSU even though he's only been on here for just over a year, if that, then something about cheeseburgers, to calling lifelong LSU fans "bashers" of the HC (sorry, pressuring the HC on certain things) then back to this crusade with these stupid machines.

He's gotten a couple of posters to take his bait though.

The guy has major issues.

Perhaps not an alter, but he really reminds me of space cowboy from last year.

There is our problem right there. Amazon can’t keep up with the hundreds of Jugs machines we need.

I did think this was the case but I really don't now. Let me clarify, I don't think it is an alter of who I initially suspected.

I thought the exact same thing.
