The quote below is by a person that evidently was raised like Greg Focker. Has trophies and ribbons for 15th place. I now feel dumber for reading this holier then thou bull shite. We shall see what the open letter looks like after a 4 loss 2013 season.
quote:
Dear coaches,players and football staff,
Thank you all for working thousands of hours and making so many sacrifices to bring all us fans so much enjoyment and so many great wins and times over the past (many) years. So many of us have come to take for granted the wins and know we are spoiled and 99% of us have no idea how much work it takes all of you to win 10 games. Sure, like all fans I'm very upset we lost 3 games but I know it is MUCH harder on all of you. To the players moving on thanks for all you have done to make us a top 5 program. To the players coming back...see you in sept! For the coaches we know you all want to win more than ever and the long hours and public lives you all live may pay you a good amount of $, but you also have very little job security. To the staff it is the first class film, weight, sid, recruiting etc etc you all add to the program..thanks. And to coach miles 80%+ wins,2sec titles and a nc only make us want more...and we know you want more too...see you all in September...thank you...

Wow, was just my opinion, just like all of yours. Why such venom, can't we agree to disagree and all hope for more sec titlesvand nc in coming years? My main point was that none of us can feel the pain the players and coaches and staff who put so much into the season and have it end like it did. In other words it hurts them much more than us. 10-3, I had hoped for better but am thankful for the many wins this team had.

Well post less then. No one needs the holier than thou douche around. We support the kids and LSU 24/7 and I'm not one to get on here and call for Miles to be fired, but to sit around and opine a sappy letter of thanks after a performance like last night is completely absurd and borderline insulting to any of us that financially contribute to the university we love.

once agin only your opinion...I "support financially too" and I aint going away so deal with it..the facts are clear- we are in the top 5 in total wins in most any multi year periods since 2003 in the toughest conf in the country, we are going to lose sometimes, some of us accept it and move on knowing how hard the players and coaches work, others obsess over it...enjoy

Les Miles is a great coach and a great man, 2 qualities that are hard to come by. We are fortunate to have him as our head coach. He does need to make some serious changes on his staff, starting with a new OC, preferably someone a bit younger and with an agressive style of offense. And actually let the new OC coach the offense.
I agree that Coach Miles is a great coach. I'll leave the decision-making to him with regard to staff changes.
