No one has ever argued with that. But the fans have taken it way beyond disappointment and have used it to champion an anti-Miles agenda that is so far out there it's both distrubing and damaging. All the while, saying it's only because they "love" the school. It's just like the alcoholic spouse who beats the crap out of his wife but tells her he only does it because he loves her so dang much.

Turning on the LSU fans is not gonna make the sting of that game go away. I promise.

I think a lot of it has been the frustration at how badly the offense played and the odd,or strange gameplan with no changes during the game.

It was a great season and more and more will embrace the accomplishments as 1/9 fades away.

Only LSU Fans...

Could turn a 13-1, a BCS National Championship appearance, SEC Championship, SEC West Title, Multi National Award/Honor season into a NEGATIVE for the program.

It's pretty outstanding. I'm actually impressed with the amount of hysteria that can be manufactured. And then re-spewed into the masses.

Every one of you should work in politics or advertising

So 50-100 people on a message board = millions of alumni and fans across the globe ??

For a 'purveyor of logic and perspective' you would fail miserably in the world of marketing research and demographic random sampling.

And BTW, not AAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LSU fans on this message board have been/are negative to the players and coaches and Miles.

I don't know about you yourself and your personality or character, but your monumentally stupid opinions don't make a very good impression.

#2 in the nation, SEC Champion, most victories of any team in the nation, 1-1 against the BCS Champ/2nd place SEC West finisher, beating 8 teams by 4 TDs or more, scoring 40 or more points 9 times, beating the Champions of the Rose, Cotton, Orange, Music City, Outback, etc. is pretty damned impressive.

Ehhh, dude, I like your half-full glass view but a little reality is needed with your statements...that game was not remotely close. I realize 15 to nothing for a while is not a blowout on the scoreboard but that was a total beatdown. It's not the loss...it is way we lost and the effort of the coaching staff PERIOD. Yes, still a great season but...

Getting shut out, only 90+ yards of offense and only crossing the 50 yard line once.... while at the SuperDome against SEC rival Alabama - a team they already beat at their place just 2 months prior.

Ah somebody else who gets it. Sure the season sounds great but don't leave off the embarrassing showing in the NC game

I couldn't agree more. I hated seeing the championship game turn out that way but man it was a great year.

To be fair, it wasn't that LSU lost. It was how they lost.

I just don't buy that. Anyone who has watched just a little bit of football knows crazy shite happens, and a team can get beat pretty bad under the right circumstances (or wrong circumstances in this case as an LSU fan). The BCS game was one of those perfect storms not in the favor of LSU. It happens.

Just sucks it happened in such a big game. But I don't think anyone should be absolutely shocked that that game could get away from one of the teams like it did. The defenses were THAT good this year.

I think LSU had an incredible season but getting pissy because we lost the BCS game has nothing specific to do with LSU fans.

Anyone who loses the BCS Championship game feels that way after they lose. How do you think Ohio State feels about the SEC or their teams that keep getting beat by then, well except for Arkansas even though they can't claim that win anymore.

I do however understand you sentiments and think that the fair weather fans should do LSU a favor and just stay away. True fans were hurt but we need to let it go and look towards the future. Quit dwelling on the past and pull for LSU no matter what!
