Only chance we had of stopping Clark was to face guard her!

Stick on her like a fly on crap. Face guard her and attempt to prevent her from getting the ball. Of course, she would have gotten the ball at times but having someone face guard her the whole game would have caused her to exhaust her energy trying to get the ball, possibly throwing her shot off.

No you don’t stop her. You stop her assist and ability to get in the paint and fast break points. She always gets hers. We lost the game because we did not have a point, a shooter, and Angel getting hurt. They frankly just played better than us and wanted it more.

LMAO. Girls were in her face all game she just shook them with her quickness. She’s the best we’ve seen. Nobody has stopped her. You only can hope she has a bad night shooting. She got hot and that’s the difference

I’m gonna log off for a while. Can’t read another thread with armchair coaching that ignores the generational talent CC has been.

No Mulkey did not lose this game.
Yes our shooters were off.
Yes we were almost ten shots under our FTs and missed a bunch anyway.
Yes Angel wasn’t the same after the injury.
Yes Iowa was that good.
