If we would have beaten Ole Miss or Arkansas and if the McNeese game wasn't cancelled, we'd be 10-2, in the top 15, and going to the Sugar Bowl. LF might have also been invited to NY as well. We also would have avoided most of the "Les Miles is fired!1!!1" fiasco as well.

Such is life though. I'm really frustrated with the coaches, but I'll always support my team and school. Here's to doing better next year.

I like to think about what ifs pertaining to if LSU had won certain games.

But not when those games involve LSU losing by 17 and 21. It's not like LSU lost by one possession or on fluke plays.

It's hard to be positive with the product that we've seen on the field the last four games, and I know that change isn't likely. I'm hoping for the best though. I'm an optimist. Or just delusional

But we didn't. And lf isn't going to New York, and we're playing in the Texas bowl, and no changes are going to be made.

I hope you're happy with your coach.

If miss state doesn't get that delay of game call, Fisher might be our head coach.

Yeah 21-17 and 20-13 against Bama is a what if
Or 27-24 vs ole miss in 2013

The 3 beatings we took this year were well earned

We weren't even competitive in either game, it's not like we lost a coin flip. We were exposed 3 weeks in a row to divisional opponents. What if Mississippi St. made that last second field goal? What if Dupre doesn't catch the jump ball at the half against UF and then the fake FG didn't work? None of it matters, we're in this underwhelming situation because of what actually happened on the field.

Yeah, I know we got assblasted in the Ole Miss and Arky games, but it's fun (read:miserable) to think about what could have been.

Who knows, if a few things would have went our way early in those games things could be totally different.

I agree that if nothing changes and we are where we are (Texas bowl), it's foolish to think we will get much better next year.

It's not "just the way the ball bounces". Please do SOMETHING different.

And New England just got their butts handed to them by a brand new Qb and then by philly with Sam Baford. They also went 10 years without s super bowl title with Tom Brady and belichivk. Is he overrated as well just taking defensive players every year in first round?
No hate in here toward Alkeva who is clearly undermining The LSU program which includes the current players. Maybe u have an interest in that.
what about A&m 5 million dollar coach and their 450 million in improvements. And score one TD set up by a low percentage bomb that was well covered. I mean they mustered all of 7 points against this terribly coached LsU team. He's not getting it done with the Longhorns struggling. But yet people in here want to find a coach that's offensive oriented like sumlin and malzahn to replace Miles. Who's in the final 4 spread teams?
The perspective in here is amazing. Ole miss and Bama Would beat the hell out of LsU if they played today. Bama is a 10 point favorite right now on an top 4 school so if they win 30-16 dantonio is not a good coach?
I can not believe that their isn't 10 posts a day calling for the ADs head instead the miles hate continues. What makes u guys think LSU should be a playoff team every 2 years. Is the school built on a ancient burial ground or something and should win every game every year? Just because.
