One player doesn't decide the outcome of a game.

We have more returning production than most.
This was a ten win team last year. Didn't have Smith then either.
Be glad it's one game and not the season.
Also, we have fricking Perkins, who broke out HARD last year. We will be fine.

Well it does help that the guy replacing Smith is a pre season All American. I’m not really that worried about it. I know Wingo will get the job done

What would you say if Harold Perkins did not play last year against Arkansas? Would it be a different outcome?

I agree somewhat with recruting, we can do a much better job there and I somewhat believe Kelly is just not a great recruiter, just like ND said. This team has much more depth than last year though and Georgia has been building depth since Smart arrived so you can’t compare the two.

FSU is scheduled to play LSU. We will win without one of our best players. The NCAA is working hard to become the problem and not the solution. Just the facts ma’am.

So it is indeed not a must win. It’s an important game but not a must win.

If the secondary can improve 3rd down conversion rates, smith’s suspension may not sting as much. Front 7 was solid without him last year. 3rd down was the achilles heel. Sux to lose him, but we need to get off the field in a game that’s almost guaranteed to be very hot/humid. (I know they practice in it, but it doesn’t test the depth/conditioning like an actual game)
