The top coaches in D1 football are NOT dependent on both coordinators. That is simply false.

Saban
Urban
Jimbo
Herman
Stoops
Harbaugh
etc
etc
etc

But amazingly they still have OC's and DC's on staff.

Which one of those coaches has what is regarded as the best staff in the nation?

None of them because that honor belongs to Coach O with Aranda and Canada.

No it's not. Every single coach you mentioned relies on one coordinator or the other. Most coaches expertise is on one side of the ball and still most of them need a good coordinator to be successful on that side but the other side of the ball they absolutely rely on a good coordinator to be successful.

The staff has potential, but tap brakes until similar accomplishment is seen in the rear view.

You should have watched some of the LSU games last year. The defense under Aranda did pretty darn good, especially considering it was his first year.

Plan to watch any games this year?

Doesn't matter which way you slice it. They are as good as their OC/DC. You think Saban has a championship caliber offense with fricking Bradley Dale Peveto as coordinator?

I suspect that I speak for more than a few Tiger fans when I say that I don't want The Orgeron interfering with either our OC or our DC this year. I hope he recruits well...

Talk about CLUELESS !!!

Clueless is when you shout out how exciting the team was and leave out that team scoring ten fricking points in 120 minutes of football played in Tiger Stadium. LSU was ok under O, but I didn't see any results to strike out the band about. The bowl win was a good one, but the team we beat was going down hill fast.

the fan's feelings for Alleva

The decline of LSU sports is directly related to the arrival of Alleva. Two failed men's basketball hires, a lackluster women's basketball hire, a fricked up football firing, a fricked up football search, and two fricked up buyouts are all on the Alleva tab. Excuse me if I cant get as excited as you over a football hire he made.

Get over yourself. Nothing wrong with discussing this hire at least until September and maybe longer.

I saw 4 games the where the defense gave up too many points and didn't see anything from MC. (being a smartass doesn't further your position btw)

No, CLUELESS is not realizing that the TE's coach who was playing the role of OC is now the TE's coach again. CLUELESS is not realizing that the only offensive Broyles Award candidate in the country last year is now the offensive coordinator at LSU.

Do you really think Alleva had any fricking connection what-so-ever to Johnny Jones? If you do more power to you and your stupid arguments against him.

Yeah, no recruits, recruit's parents or anybody else happens upon this board. Keep on bitching and when Louisiana players leave for Bama or A&M bitch about the coaches because they lost them somehow. Good job !!!

there is absolutely no chance he's gotten better as a coach right?

Do you even review the shite you come up with before you hit submit? He won three SEC games in three years. How in the hell can any coach not get better.

We shouldn't be in a position where we have to hope our new coach can do better than the last time he ran a program straight into the ground!

Alleva needs to go! That should be the signature of the Rant until he proves it wrong.

So you're saying LSU should fire the defensive coordinator who gave up the least points in the nation?

Is that what you are saying? fricking brilliant, please post a lot more. You're great !!!

I don't even know who the frick MC is. So yes, my posting skills definitely suck if DA (Dave Aranda) is not the one giving up the points since he is the defensive coordinator.

I have to admit I have no idea who "MC" is. Elaborate please, hell we may agree if I knew who the frick MC is.

He hired Jones and was his boss. Are you on drugs, clown?

Where were you the last three years when the bitching here was 24-7? We still had highly ranked classes. Of course, if O has any more years where he loses 7 of the top 10 best recruits in Louisiana like he did this year, we might not see another top class.

Well shite then, all our problems are over. We have a award winning OC. I bet the rest of the SEC is scared shitless now. I guess you are saying 11-2 or 12-1 regular season is in the bag for us. shite, I feel better now.

Are you so dumb you think it was Alleva's idea to hire Johnny Jones? I mean his association with him was very involved.

Coach O hasn't been associated with LSU the last three years, idiot. Do you remember when he convinced the 5-star from Lake Charles to go to Tennessee rather than LSU, the guy who had benn committed to LSU for over a year?

Wow. what a trip!!! I wish I could still smoke weed, it would make this post that much better. How about LSU now has the only offensive Broyles Award candidate as the Offensive Coordinator?

So you say this:

quote:

And are bitching about Coach O hiring the only offensive coordinator nominated for the Broyles Award as a bad thing?

You didn't see MC do anything last year because he didn't coach at LSU.

JESUS frickING CHRIST.

Hey dude, youtube has a video of MC and his offense (last year at Pitt) being the ONLY team to beat Clemson. It's only 30 minutes long and shows MC's offense beating the national championship team. Check it out.
