Yes, going 0-8 in the conference was a real benchmark moment for the Rebs

So youre just dismissing nutt winnimg the west 2 times with his own recruits at arky? Let me guess, 4 years in isnt his own recruits.

4 years at Ole Miss with his own recruits and his arse was canned after going 0-8. He did really good while O's players were still there.

Poor thing that's not the only thing I posted dude and I'd just copy and repost but I'm on a cell. It's posted before the post you're talking about.

I don't think a coach winning with players that his predecessor lost with is necessarily a credit to the predecessor.

That's like giving Dinardo all the credit for the 2001 SEC title.

Of course

So we'll do better than 3 SEC wins over 3 years... Nice!

Then why couldn't O win a conference game with his own players?

Thank you. These fools are trying to spin this as a good thing for O. But they'll also tell you that his record at OM doesn't matter, because it was 10 years ago.

Yeah it's pretty awesome how people are attempting to spin a CLEAR negative as a positive. It's kind of mind-boggling

Even when the predecessor only had two of his classes with his first recruiting class only being sophomores at the time. while the next coach has 3 of the former coaches players with the 1st class being juniors.

I would agree but the guy went 0-8 in the league and was fired once O's players were gone.

I'm not trying to say what O did at Ole Miss was great, except for his recruiting anyway. But, that was also a long time ago and he didn't have Aranda and Canada running both sides of the ball.

Or giving Coach O credit for taking a team that had gone 4-7 in its last 11 games and going 6-2 with a win over the 4th ranked team in the country.

Maybe because when he was let go he only had two recruiting classes with his 1st class only being sophomores?

No, it does matter. But since it was over a decade ago it matters much less than what he accomplished at USC and LSU.

No, he just had the guy who ran the early 2000's Miami offenses that won 30 something games in a row, and Noel Mazzone originally.

Try being a fan of a team one day. Maybe then you will understand how mind-boggling the experience can be. Until then just try to find satisfaction by shitting on everything - hell you should just continue to do that anyway it suits you better.

Interim shite doesn't matter at all. If it did, Orgeron might still be the head coach at USC right now.
