JaMarcus Russell is the greatest QB in LSU history when behind in the 4th quarter. He won games time and time again in EVERY year of his career.
Oregon State
Iowa (Capital One Bowl: minus a freak hail mary...JR had a potential game winning drive in that one as well)
@ Arizona State
@ Alabama
@ Tennessee
Ole Miss at home
etc
etc
He had 8 total 4th quarter or OT come from behind victories during his LSU career. per LSUsports.net
Rohan Davey was tremendously clutch, but he is not even close to JR. If you say Flynn, that is fair...but I have zero respect for your sports related opinions.
There is no one that I would rather have the ball in the 4th quarter down a score than JR.

rohan and russell would be the obvious choice because they are more talented. but i've seen flynn run crowton's offense before so i know he can do it.
and he's white. j/k

Depends who my WR's are, honestly. If I can sacrifice arm strength for leadership because my WR's are really good, I'll take Flynn. If my WR's aren't up to par, I'd need JR's arm to compensate.

What do you like about Rohan over Russell?

Why do you think Flynn was a better leader than Russell or Rohan?

Flynn
For sizing up the defense, staying cool under pressure, making good decisions, and delivering the ball to the right playmaker. Not even close.
Took the words out of my mouth.

that 2001 LSU offense was the closest thing I ever saw to the Spurrier offense at UF
it was amazing how open the WRs were able to get
Other than the Bama game and the Sugar Bowl the '01 offense wasn't anything special. '07 was much more consistent.

Flynn (JaMarcus a very close second)

Russell without a doubt. The guy was amazing at engineering the clutch drive when we needed it.
2004: Oregon State, Iowa, Ole Miss(?)
2005: Arizona State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida
2006: Tennessee, Ole Miss
And those are just a few off the top of my head. I'm sure there were more. Considering that in his entire career, we only lost 7 games, and he won at least that many with clutch drives late in games, and had another one won until the defense gave up the hail mary, His performances in those situations literally cut our losses by more than half during his time here. I wouldn't even consider not picking him as the guy I want for one drive to win the game.

JaMarcus Russell with 3-4 years in Crowton's system.....frick Jimbo!!!
JaMarcus>>>Rohan>>>>>>>>>Flynn>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mauck

Impossible choice... Since Flynn had many come from behind wins it would seem natuarl to pick him. I cannot overlook Rohan or Jamarcus.
I thought Mauck was good at managing the game and letting the defense dominate, which it did. Mauck would not be my guy. The other three are a toss up.

do you flynn guys remember how flynn couldnt beat unranked arkansas at home ON SENIOR DAY to get a chance to go to the BCSNCG? Seriously all he had to do was beat arkansas to get a shot and he couldnt do it.

Russell.
But that list makes you realize how fortunate we have been at QB during this great run.

Agreed - I initially picked Flynn (JaMarcus - close second).
But had JaMarcus been in Crowton's system instead of Jimbo's, how many "clutch" drives would have ever been needed in the first place?
