It doesn't matter. He could have opted out. Anthony Davis can complain about it. He didn't have a chance to go to the NBA straight from high school. He was forced into the broken system.
Simmons chose his path knowing exactly what it entailed. If I choose to take the longest route home from work today even though there are quicker options, I don't get to complain about how late I get home.
You seem to think BECAUSE he chose the path he did, which was the right choice, once again, to guarantee him the most money, it means he cant say it's still messed up, which he's absolutely correct it is...whether it benefitted him or not makes no matter if the system itself is still entirely flawed. He just did what any top international player should do if they want to be taken #1 overall, come over and play.
Your how you are getting home analogy makes no sense, is it making you a lot more money for sure than taking the shorter way? No...again, this was a move above securing his best immediate future, nothing more or less.

That's an NBA rule...not an NCAA rule.
Never said it wasn't one way or the other. Either way no reason to play the semantics game here, dumb to argue. The NCAA was more than happy when the NBA came up with the 1 and done idea, so let's not joke ourselves here.

So, you are saying that playing in college benefitted him?
I very specifically said he came over here to secure the best future for him, so obviously yes it did.

We will just disagree on this. I don't feel like searching for an anchored thread anymore.

College is still by far the best pipeline to the NBA.
