with only loss to unanimous #1 in a close game we would be a shoe in over anyone not undefeated, possibly even over some of those as well.

I don't see them putting LSU with 1 loss. Especially if ND runs the table.

When Bama beats LSU and the season concludes. I see OU, tOSU, Bama, ND.

Those are teams that more than likely could run the table. Bama's trouble is going to be LSU and Auburn. And possibly UGA in SECCG. Not sure I see trouble for ND, tOSU, and OU. If one of those lose, and LSU's only loss is Bama. Maybe, just maybe they get in over ND due to sos.

Of all the 1 loss teams they put in, I think Bama last year was the only one that wasn't a conference Champion. OU maybe, the year they lost to UT.

Ohio St in 2016, but like Bama last year they had fewer losses than 2 P5 Champs (Penn St and USC). They also had 3 top 10 wins (that’s based on the final poll not the preseason or when they played) including at OU who won the Big XII

Please for the love of God, make this shite stop.

I can promise you no other group of fans bitches about "not being respected" more than this one. It is pathetic.

I would normally agree, but the committee opened that can of worms last year and got the results they couldn't afford to get.

They allowed a team who didn't win their division or conference prove they should be a NC.

Had Bama lost they would have been able to say we tried it and got the results we expected, but they can't stuff that monkey back in the sock now.

Now the best four teams in the country, based on body of work, get to knock it out vice conference champs.

Oklahoma, Ohio state and Clemson all have fairly easy schedules. so most likely they will all be in.

if we lose to Georgia and beat alabama, then we can play our way in by beating Georgia in the championship game. if we beat Georgia and lose to alabama, we miss the championship game and we're most likely out. if we beat Georgia and beat alabama we have to beat Georgia again.

our best case scenario is if Clemson plays their way out of the championship. they have not looked like a great team. the pac-12 is crap so they are not likely to get a team in over a one loss lsu.

if our only loss is to either Georgia or alabama, the loss is closely contested, and whether or not we play in the championship game, our best chance is for either Clemson or Oklahoma to play their way out.

the math is almost insurmountable. if we didn't have Georgia on the schedule this year, we'd really have a decent shot.
