They are destroying a team that destroyed Texas...yeah, every dog/duck has its day, but I am watching a team that looks like a pretty damn good one and pretty well coached.

As soon as a D Coordinator comes up with a plan to attack their tempo this team is done.. Its gimmick. As for thier D its just HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrid.

This. When will the voters realize this and stop putting teams like this at #2-#5

We would absolutely wreck their team. I think Nevis might break the single season record for sacks in one game

whoever brings up the mcneese game as a point is a fricking dumbass when it comes to the game of football. Yeah i guess we could have blitzed our asses off and shown them all kind of different packages, left ridley in the entire game, and ran up 60+ points on them but how does that help any better than a 22 point victory in which we gave no new film for future opponents to study. If you think we actually played 50% of our potential go play in traffic immediately

That offense is quick and efficient. Very well disciplined. They are impressive. Nevis would still be running down the field. Not dogging my Tigers just stating fact

If we won, which we could, why wouldn't this be a typical 1-3 point LSU win? WHy DESTROY?

I'm not saying it's not impressive to watch their execution, but they could be easily stopped with the right scheme. We could run over their defense all day.

Are we watching the same team?

Yes. Are you watching the same Oregon I'm watching against UCLA? Do you know anything about college football? I guess not. Who is better than Oregon?

600 yards...do you realize how much that is.

Our D gave up 500 to NC. What are you getting at?

ohhhhhhhh WOW oregon is beating a team that beat a shitty texas team! UCLA is 3-3 with an arse pounding 35-0 loss to stanford. Do you really think Oregon would be running this gimmicky bullshite with sucess against a fast defense like LSU's or Alabama's ? if so then you dont know football. I would love to play this team in the National Championship this year.

Its a gimick offense that is just working because people dont know what to do against them.

And? I thought part of football was not only trying to be more physical than the other team, but also outsmart them. You people are idiots. Call their offense what you want, it works. Period. No one has stopped it. You need to stop making yourself look like a fool.

Dear volfan30

As a Tampa Bay Ray fan, I am very upset about your avatar picture.

LOL.. Hope we can keep him, but I know he will be gone.

I thought this thread was sarcastic (and I still think the OP was joking), but apparently some are taking this seriously. The McNeese comment was tongue-in-cheek. However, I really doubt the plan that Miles and Co had was to be up 16-10 at halftime. But, hey, at least no one has any more film of the same shite they already have of LSU.

While I agree we would have a hard time beating them, I would never buy into the national media hype that takes place every. single. year.

Insert Pac-10 team here is the best team in the nation.

Who is really better than Oregon then? You maggots shoot off at the mouth with this crap, but you can't list a definitively better team.

Objectivity is a lost ideal among some.

Oregon couldn't ask for better right now. They are destroying a team that beat the hell outta Texas (I don't care how bad Texas might be...it's still Texas to many AP voters) and they're doing it on a Thursday night in front of a ton of viewers who are watching them for the first time. It's going to be tough for a 1 loss SEC team to jump an undefeated Duck squad...damn near impossible if they continue to beat up on teams like this.
