My God man I pray you are right. When we blitz the defense is good, not great but good enough. We can only truly cover two players at a time consistently. When three or more go out, we can’t cover long enough to stop a Simi accurate passer from shredding our secondary. Look at the Texas and Florida games. We don’t have a viable zone defense and only two true lock down corners. That means we must have pressure. Rushing 3 or 4 ain’t gonna cut it. The pineapple princess is gonna carve us up if we try and play a prevent style defense.
I really believe that the only way we win is to play the same offense as we did against Texas and Vandy where we try and run plays as fast as possible and as many plays as possible a game. No merkat check with me at the line offense and no slowing it down to protect the defense. frick the defense. Score as many points as possible and hope DBU can get a turnover or two while blitzing one or two every play.

You mean like he was aggressive in that triple OT game against Arkansas when in regulation the Arkansas QB had time for a picnic with his GF from the aggressiveness, and on 4th down he found the Arkie RB waving at him on the side and threw to him to pick up the first down to keep the drive alive and score a TD sending the game into OT. Now that Aranda has experimented with his D and players I expect he will bring pressure like we haven't seen this year. No doubt Burrow will get same treatment from little Nicky.
