Only a few schools will bring their full band to Tiger Stadium, but any time a school does, LSU has let them also march at halftime. Auburn, State. Ole Miss. A&M and Southern Miss have all marched in TS.
No one ever marches when they just being a pep band.
TGBFTL has traditionally made one regular season full band trip and then the bowl or postseason.

Idiot. It has nothing to do with “entitlement.” This is not common practice among SEC schools. Their band department’s statement bears that out. It’s clear they wound allow TGBFTL to march if it were their choice.

They do. They always go to Tuscaloosa when they play Bama there. They also usually go to either UGA or Tennessee, They almost always bring their full band to LSU too, although they didn't the last time they came to BR. I believe they take 3 full band trips each season, not including post-season play.

Bring the smaller Pep GBFTL.
Holoweiko needs to be fired if they waste this trip by bringing the Full Band and just sit there like Cypress Knees. Unacceptable.
Tell LSU Admins that we're not bringing the Full Band if we can't perform at Half-Time.
It makes no sense and would be a complete waste of Time and Money!

I think that they march to that same exact "Yogi-Bear-is-smarter-than-the-average-bear" song each and every game, and year. Should have the marching routine to that song absolutely perfect after all of those performances of it by now...

I'm guessing that you haven't been to any LSU home games recently. The band can't be bothered to play almost any song at this point if there is a stoppage of play. Back in the old days, they played a countless number of songs during commercial breaks, etc. Now it is all piped in rap music.

They are literally told when they can and can't play now. It's not up to them anymore. LSU admins run the show.

It's not like Ole Miss performs whenever we play in BR anyway. I can't remember a single game in recent history where either LSU or Ole Miss performed on each other's field.
