Ole Miss rejuvination
It's been a one-sided rivalry for the past few decades that can't be fixed a year or two.

No doubt the 70's and 80's were one sided. Almost like the 60's were one sided for us. As far as the "the past few decades" you're gonna have trouble getting by the 90's. You had to take 6 of the last 7 just to get it to this. THIS decade has been one-sided, but hopefully we're righting the ship. I am not in anyway trying to take a thing from LSU. I have no problem with the Tigers. Just don't overlook the fact that for two decades you only have a three game lead.

2008: Ole Miss 31-13
2007: LSU 41-24
2006: LSU 23-20 OT
2005: LSU 40-7
2004: LSU 27-24
2003: LSU 17-14
2002: LSU 14-13
2001: Ole Miss 24-35
2000: LSU 20-9
1999 - Ole Miss 42-23
1998 – Ole Miss 37-31 (OT)
1997 – Ole Miss 36-21
1996 – LSU 39-7
1995 – LSU 38-9
1994 – Ole Miss 34-21
1993 – LSU 19-17
1992 – Ole Miss 32-0
1991 – LSU 25-22
1990 – Ole Miss 19-10

LSU – 11 Ole Miss - 8

A stronger Ole Miss might keep Alabama in check. If LSU couldn't get the top players from MS, then I would rather have them stay in state and go to Oxford rather than Tusc.

I have always thought that the State of Mississippi does not have the population and talent base to support three D-1 football programs - UM, MSU, and USM. If any of those schools were the only D-1 school in the state, like LSU in Louisiana, it would be a powerhouse.

From 1990 to 1999, Ole Miss won 6 of the 10 games.
