I remember the 90's well. I was a student that went to every game.
What the hell does playing at 2:30 half to do with being on top. It simply means that a broadcast co. wants to show the game. All you dumbass who don't want 7 PM games have probably never attended a game. You prefer to have the game at 2:30 so you can still have time to do some chores around the house afterwards. I can not explain how playing at night is 10 times better than playing during the day. It is dumbasses like you who think a 2:30 game is better for LSU than a 7 PM game. Why don't you go do some dishes bitch and quit complaining about people who would much rather a game a night.

When you are on network TV in the afternoon,it means your program is DOING WELL !! CBS won't televise you if you are not doing well. Howfreaking hard is it to understand that?
Be thankful for the 2:30 game and the tremendous exposure it gives the program and the university. Adjust your precious tailgate. Deal with the situation instead of whining. CBS and ESPN paid over $2 BILLION for the SEC broadcast rights for the next 15 years so if they say we play at 6am, we play at 6 am. Better get used to it because it isn't changing anytime soon.
