Ole Miss Defense on 3rd Down (vs. Louisville)

I put together a similar breakdown of Ole Miss's offense yesterday, but I think the defensive drive chart against Louisville is just as interesting. Stats are below, and I'll comment the drive chart if anyone likes reading that.
Louisville got themselves into a bunch of "3rd & Extra Long" situations in the first half, 4 times to be exact. As you can see below, they weren't able to convert any of those. They managed to stay ahead of the sticks much more often in the 2nd half, leading to scores on 5 of 7 drives and much fewer negative plays.
If LSU stays ahead of the sticks, they'll have a ton of success against this defense.
3rd Downs
7/16 Overall (44%)
PASSING: 3/9 Conversions, 4/7 Completions, 2 Sacks, 78 Yards, 1 TD
RUSHING: 4/7 Conversions, 43 yards
3rd & Short (1-3 yards): 6/6 (100%)
3rd & Medium (4-6): 1/3 (33%)
3rd & Long (7-10): 0/1 (0%)
3rd & Extra Long (11+): 0/5 (0%)

They have a corner and safety apparently returning from injury

Don't believe a corner and safety move the needle a ton in 3rd and short scenarios. The main thing I take from these stats is that the running game is imperative, and Ole Miss looks awfully suspect at stopping it.

I just don't see a scenario where this D is't running around confused and gassing hard by the 3rd quarter.
I just don't see it. I don't think they can hold up with us for 4 quarters. Plain and simple.
