Pete Golding assured the media Monday he didn’t call the FBI and have a team come in to sweep for audio devices that may or may not have been planted by former coach Lane Kiffin.

“Any bowl game, playoff system, obviously, you’re going to up security,” Golding, the Ole Miss coach, told reporters. “I’m not sure that there was a hiring process of, ‘Here we go with the FBI.’ I do think we probably have a current player whose dad just so happens to work for the FBI that lives in town, from that standpoint.
