It looks like she just chewed Carley a new one but damn, that’s on her infielders. It should be 1-0 at most. They called that a hit but Amber took WAY to long to throw. And we still aren’t hitting Lee. This isn’t on her pitchers. It’s her offense and defense

Late innings and need base runners and swing at a 3-1 count that happened to be a ball.

LSU's pitchers have been fine I just think its way too unreasonable to expect shut outs every time they take the field.

At some point the offense needs to help their pitches out, scoring 1 run seems to be a miracle these days

hope we can come back in bottom of 7

Do we know what pitch was called and if it was thrown to location specified? Did she throw a different pitch than the coach called? As a pitching coach, lots of things I find to cringe about when everybody is happy that the pitch actually was a strike even though it was nowhere near what I called.

Just a view from where Beth may be coming from in that situation. Until I know the pitch called, I can't speculate.

They are also taking FOREVER to get the pitches in. Carley works fast. They are off today big time.

I hear you, but I’m talking about the errors on our defense

If we don’t rally, taking 2-3 in an SEC series is nothing to sneeze at, but I’m worried about our helplessness against SEC pitching.

Does not bode well for Florida and Tennessee on the road.

But you said that Beth chewed the pitcher out and it sounded like you said she was chewing out the wrong person even though you are probably right. That's why I gave the perspective from a pitching coach.

I mean she should have been chewing out the whole team, not just the pitcher. They are a step late and mentally off today.

I guess we can say that their pitcher is great but she has 7 losses, one against our girls. So she is hittable, except by us. She has made a career against this LSU team.

That's a valid point from what I'm reading. I don't have a way to watch right now since I'm sitting with Mom so following this is my eyes and ears.
