So that preseason poll came out and I know all that is meaningless. But when are people going to realize that Oklahoma is no better than UCF? I get that Clemson is a relatively good team that plays a bad schedule right there with them but at least they have beaten other good teams like Bama and Ohio St recently. Oklahoma just sucks and the Big 12 is just as bad as the ACC. I get that this LSU team is one of the GOATs but that semifinal should have woken some people up. We flat embarrassed them.

Here's there schedule. Honestly there's a handful of teams that can get there year after year at this point.

Agree on assessment of Oklahoma. And Big 12. Maybe Texas steps up finally to compete. The Big 12 should be better then the ACC

They’ll finally be breaking in a young QB with little experience. Gonna be a shaky season for them.

I always thought preseason rankings should be based on how good each team looks, not on what their records will most likely be at the end of the season.

"Relatively good"? You think that Clemson is kinda good but not really?

Looking at that schedule do you think OU will look "better" than the team on the other side?

"Relatively good" means good compared to other teams. It doesn't mean kinda good but not really.

Based on their weak arse schedule they were rated number one defense.
With a couple breaks we would have put 60 on them.
