the one exception was a game I saw at Milwaukee County stadium back in the 80s, was cold and overcast, last game of the regular season and I had just moved to Chicago and wanted to check another ball park off the list, tailgating was awesome and people would not let you through with offering you a beer and a brat, it started snowing fairly hard about midway through the game and a lot of poeple were leaving, this was back when you could "filter" down from the cheap seats and sit on the front row, iirc, the Brewers were out of contention but the game mattered in the standings to their opponent(don't remember who it was,) and the umps were determined that that game would be completed, one of the most enjoyable and "unique" baseball games I've been to
