According to one BOS there are no done deals being made despite every attempt to guess. But feelers are out for sure. Half of these are agents just trying to get a pay day for their guy or to gauge feedback internally. Kiffin didn’t do himself any favors with his popcorn arrogance and beat down last weekend. He is a fan favorite but the leaders aren’t impressed.

Kiffin: Probably the #1 choice of 95% of the fan base. Lane would kill it here. But he is a known skirt chaser, and after this past Saturday some might question is game day decision making! Does that remind you of anyone you know currently roaming the sidelines at LSU?

Franklin: This the one that really says you have no clue what you are talking about! NEWS FLASH! Franklin is black, clearly on the lighter side of the spectrum but he is! The woke crowd would praise LSU for this hire as it would be the highest profile/brand to make such a hirer. Yes LSU's Football program has a higher profile and is a much bigger brand than Penn State.

Freeze: Head coaches and hookers never go together publicly. Also 5 seasons at Ole Piss 39-25 overall and 19-21 in the SEC. Throw in that the current commissioner absolutely hates him and Hugh has cancelled himself.

Meyer and Freeze shouldnt be considered for common sense reasons, regardless if you are woke or not.

Franklin doesn't fit your scenario, woke crowd would love it.

Lane is the type of charasmatic guy that even the woke crowd likes. If Woodward really wants him the BOS will give him the ok. I actually think its between Lane and BoB. Woodward has a great relationship with Sexton and they are both Sexton clients. In a perfect world for Jimmy BoB to LSU or Lane to LSU and BoB to Ole Piss.

none of these kids in d1 football go through competitive admissions. they just need to meet ncaa minimum.

a few schools do have adjusted standards for athletes, but it would be like getting accepted to msstate.

stanford has admissions for athletes. 3.0gpa with a 24 act, but its on a sliding scale. higher the gpa, lower the act required etc. a few other schools have something similar, but that's as hard as it gets.

not one d1 athlete goes through competitive admissions like a regular student.

some schools do require their athletes to actually go to class and earn their grades.
