1. Kicking field goals instead of scoring touchdowns.

2. Lost the turnover battle 0-2.

LSU will score TD’s and win the turnover margin vs Clemson.

The game completely changed when the LB for OSU got ejected for targeting. It was the right call, but Clemson wasn’t moving the ball and was down 16-0 at that point.

The helmet penalty changed the whole game... Safety Shawn Wade gets the sack and OSU rolls... You could feel it, or at least I could. Wade ejection was even bigger than the penalty itself as it took an NFL first rounder out of the game.. Ouuuuuuch.

Yea, it sure was... Looked at that over and over and he had control of the ball for 3-4 steps when you could see him getting it stripped at the end.

This may have been the turning point.

Early in the game Clemson could not stop him.

I don’t think that was a big factor. Dobbins only had 2 big carries all game. Up to the point he hurt his ankle, he had 11 total carries and 138 of his 142 came on 2 plays.

Nor did his dropping two TD passes that would have resulted in 8 more points.

They made mistakes and Clemson capitalized. That's what well-disciplined teams do.

Every team gives the other team opportunities.

Gotta give Clemson credit for holding them to 3 first half field goals. It’s a blow out if that doesn’t happen.

Unfortunately for them, I don’t see LSU settling for field goals. Also note that Dobbins dropped a walk in touch down and he also missed another catch that would’ve gone for 6

Clemson won’t get so lucky in New Orleans. LSU won’t let up like OSU did. Also expect Aranda to show why he’s earning 2.5 mil in that game, can’t wait to see our D silence all the haters from this season.
