You mean to tell me that LSU whipped an NFL team for the NC. Does that mean we won the Super Bowl too?

NOWHERE does it say OSU's an NFL team. It says we have a lot of people that will be drafted.

What the hell do you guys smoke up there... Boone a first round 'lock'??? Your team has 2 locks (3 if Beanie makes the jump). That is a solid number... no need to try to exaggerate (although that is pretty much the key to your NC hopes the past few years... exaggeration)

That guy has Boone going 19th

LINK This guy has him going 6th

LINK
This guy has him going 21

Those are the first three mock drafts I pulled up, and guess who is a first rounder on all of them?

LINK Here's a 09 mock draft database, if you want to go through it and see for yourself then be my guest.

And since I foresee you crying "those are random guys who don't know jack", here is scouts 09 draft, and guess who is pick #27?

The dude is a first rounder.

You deserve fun after the embarassments your squad has delivered.

Not to dampen your fun, I do not recall saying he was not a first rounder... I do recall saying he is far from a 'lock'

If being placed 27th in the Scout draft meets the definition of 'lock' to you guys, then I am beginning to understand your judgement that much better.

They also have Lauranitis dropping all the way to 25 and Beanie at 9... call me silly, but I do not put a whole bunch of weight in a draft that has those two dropping that far down. Again, the debate is whether he is a 'lock' or not... not whether he could go in the first round.

So its a mere coincidence that every draft has him being a first round and that doesn't qualify as a lock? FoxSport's draft has him as 12 FWIW. Yea...definitely not a lock

Ok, well I think the burden of proof falls to you then; find me a draft where he isn't in the first round since I've shown quite a few where he is. Until then he's a "lock"...sorry!

But like every other year they will make it all the way then choke, so they would meet the saints in the superbowl and we would roll over them

I really hope they kick fUSC's arse though.

So you are saying with 100% certainty, no matter what happens, he is going first round? There is no scenario (barring decapitation) that sees him drop into the 2nd round.

Do you even know what the word lock means?

Of course if he breaks a leg in game 1 that would affect the draft boards. Also, in all of the drafts I've seen they include underclassmen which may or may not come out - that will only improve his draft stock.

As of today 8/27 Alex Boone is a LOCK for the first round. If you want to further debate this, show me a draft board where he isn't in the first round, or fly that white flag.
