Ok, so you're going to be prepared to tell your daughter what sucking that tiger dick means. I don't think most normal parents share your sentiment.
Good job reading the whole post.

Yeah, and 7 year olds always know and follow that logic.
Well then you shouldn't bring your kids to a game then if you can't handle it. But that is the definition of lazy parenting. Either be prepared to deal with the situation you yourself put them in, and don't go.

No, I don't think that a parent should have to tell their child what suck that tiger dick means. That isn't some great tradition that is a part of the magic of Tiger Stadium. Sure, there is going to be some idiot behind me in the stadium dropping f bombs. That isn't going to be quite as noticeable to a child as 10,000 people yelling suck that Tiger Dick as part of a chant during a song that is being played by the band.
You fools arguing that it is perfectly acceptable are seriously acting like this is some huge tradition in Tiger Stadium and part of what makes the gameday experience at LSU great. It is pretty pathetic.

Big difference between "suck my dik" and "a-hole."...and I don't want to have to explain the difference to my 9 and 3 year old. We're not splitting hairs here...one's profanity and the other is obscenity. Look at the definitions if you think there the same.
seriously???? Hostile I get...but this is something else.
And yes, when I was there in the 80's, the SS was yelling profanities and such...doesn't make it right and we weren't on national TV every week giving us the big stage to really look like a horses arse.

They got rid of tiger rag around 06 maybe a year or so sooner than that. They would say "assholes! ...Assholes!" It's hard to describe in text how they implanted it into song

Good thing I never said you should.

Well learn how to explain it away or stay away. College football is a vulgar place to take your kids, and it's not just in the stadium. Since you're obviously too much of a lazy titty baby to exercise good parenting in this type of situation, I suggest you put your kids in a sound proof bubble or leave them at home.

I never said that. I just say it is delusional to not expect it.

I'm not sure that is the argument. I think it more falls along the lines of things haven't changed and they won't change, don't be so naive.

So it's only a problem because it's on TV? What are you afraid of?
Maybe I am naive. I didn't know that people based their opinions of Universities based on what drunk students say at sporting events.

This should be the end of it, but it won't be. Somehow it was OK back when they got to have their fun, but NOW to needs to stop

Who said I don't expect it? I absolutely expect because I know we have a bunch of trashy douchebags sitting in the student section that are just waiting for them to play this song on Saturday so that they can chant for the opponents to Suck that Tiger Dick, Bitch. I mean it's like so cool dude. That is like a part of game day man. It is so much fun!!11!!!11

You know the stadium is littered with trashy douchebags, also? Not just the student section. It's south Louisiana, 85% of the people that attend these games are trash to the max.

I was speaking in hypotheticals. I guess that was too hard to figure out

Your posts are just as cool as saying STTDB.

Absolutely. But I have never heard anyone else in the stadium chant that. There are other trashy douchebags in the stadium that are not chanting suck that tiger dick, but that does not mean that the people in the student section chanting it aren't trashy douchebags.

Maybe a slight exaggeration. Not sure.

In any setting (outside of a bar room or construction site), in the 80's or in the year 2013, which one would be more likely to receive a language warning: shouting "a-hole", "kick their arse", or "suck my dick"?

This is the biggest problem. Most of the younger generation doesn't see the phrase "suck my dick" to be nearly as vulgar as the older generation does.
There is some truth there, but would you yell that or say it in front of your parents? And maybe you would, I don't know...but I think a very large percentage of the ones that yell it would not. I think that's a reasonable test to see if it's a little over the line.
I just like the songs that are gone and I know the students do as well, so I think that's a good reason to just enjoy the songs. Besides, now we have other fan bases saying it back to us individually when they beat us now (like Ole Miss). Then it doesn't seem that fun (especially for those that don't yell it in the first place).

OH NO a group of college students yells suck that tiger dick bitch.
I just don't understand how you can let a few thousand people saying that the other team and their supporters just metaphorically sucked a theoretical dick make you so mad man.
