It shows your team you aren't going to put up with it. I listened to o's interview at media day and he talked about it. Said if something is wrong he is going to fix it right there. He was talking about the pelini situation.
O let it fester all year. My guess is he felt it wasn't right early on.

Here is another. Quit trying to find people to "run Joe Brady's offense". Coaches should own their team (your offense, your philosophy, your process), not rent from others...at this level of football.

That does not seem to be the opinion of players who were on the 07 national championship team.
When the hire was made, Hester expressed high praise for Pelini and his relationship with defensive as well as offensive team players.

Hester has permanent purple and gold glasses on, probably best not to listen to him for expectations on hires for the program.
